I'm running a slight temp and worried sick. My dr says I need to do more deep breathing. I was sleeved on Monday 5/5. Anyone else had this issue?

I had a fever the first few days after surgery. It went away on day 3. I really think drinking more Water helped but that could just be my imagination. Give it a little more time but if it doesn't stop, I would make your DR see you to make sure no infection anywhere. Good luck with your first month and recovery.

Take some children's liquid tylenol and see if it helps the fever. If it does, then you're fine. If not, then I'd let your surgeon know.

My surgery date was April 14th. I went home the next day and by evening was running a temperature of 100. I took some of my liquid Hydracodone (the only dose of pain meds I took) went to bed and haven't had a temp since. Just watch it and if it goes over 101 call your Dr. I never even felt like I had surgery :)

I had a fever two days after I came home up to 101, I took Tylenol and it went away. I was petrified but all was good after that.

I was only a little sore for a week or so, but nothing bad. I didn't even take any pain meds. It takes a while before you can get all your liquids in. You have to take sips for a couple weeks. I am almost 4 weeks out and I drink normally now.

I had fever temp of 101 at 1 week postop. I called my Dr immediately and he told me to take liquid tylenol and if that didnt help then to go in to see him. The next morning I woke up fine and no more fever.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
