WHAT?!??!!?

My lack of religious beliefs does not equal worshipping Satan. If your opinion mattered to me in the slightest, that would be totally offensive.

No, darling, I don't worship Satan. I don't believe in Satan or hell so not a lot there to "worship".

Oh ok. I was asking a question I didn't know what that meant. It wasn't an opinion just a question now I know what it means. Thank you

Not surprised that a "believer" thinks that non believers worship Satan. Really? I believe in the kindness of strangers. I believe if I eat too much, too often, or high carb food, I will sabotage my sleeve. I believe I don't have to be fat forever and my support group helps a lot! There are many more things I believe in, but God, from any religion is not one ofthem

I second that statement. God is so good everyday all say

Now if I came into the Christian forums and started in about my beliefs, would that be ok? ;)

Please respect this room. :D

BTW, it would be nice if we could get the word "atheist" spelled right.

If anyone who has admin powers is listening ... ;)

I had no idea this sub forum existed and honestly the OP words really saddened me. I believe that people should be able to express themselves and others can share or learn about beliefs other than their own.

For example, I taught a class of Nursing Assistants several years ago. 90% of my class was Muslim. i found out a lot about the Muslim faith and it was very interesting.

My medical director from years ago had the whole staff at his house and asked us to share our "holiday" traditions. I learned about Hanukah and Christmas traditions from a variety of perspectives. I remember when I left his house feeling uplifted and like I had really celebrated diversity.

For the people who are thanking God, that is an expression of their faith, not an attempt to proselyte (at least not the ones I've seen). Also, offering of prayers is an expression of concern and caring when someone is going through a hard time.

Sorry, didn't mean to ramble on....

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
