6 weeks update with pictures!

Recommended Posts

Just know that this surgery has a long recovery. I am feeling better, but I am not myself yet. I am hoping to feel like myself in the next couple weeks. I am super happy with my Surgeon and my results. Have a Bless Day!!!

How much did you lose? How much skin loss did you lose?

My surgeon says I'll need this... Makes me way more nervous than the initial procedure (later this month) but figured a day at a time

Look great!

Thank you for posting the pictures. I am considering this type of surgery. I've lost alot of weight and have the loose skin problem. I think all the time about getting rid of this darn pot belly, and getting the 'girls' plumped back up instead of them just laying on my chest like deflated balloons.

Thank you ladies! I had a Lower Body Lift, Butt Lift with Fat Flat augmentation, Breast Augmentation with implants (no lift), Medial Thigh Lift and TT and Belly Button scar revision. Here are my before pics One of the pics showed my ugly TT scar that I had when I had my TT in 2007.

Wow, what a beautiful job your surgeon! Good for you for putting up with what I'm sure was a rough recovery.

Be well…

U look great. May I ask were u at goal when u had your surgery. Also, with the Tummy Tuck did u find that tightened up everything else below the belly, meaning the genital area? I've heard it does so that's why I ask. I'm 4 mos out from having my sleeve and down 60 lbs but I'm definitely gonna need plastic surgery.

Thank you:)

Yes, I was at goal. I had the sleeve on June, 2012 SW 230. The day of my plastic surgery I weighted 121. To answer your question about the TT, for me the TT only make my stomach flat. I had my TT in 2007 after having kids. I just had a TT and belly button scar revision this time with my LBL, Butt Augmentation using the fat flap, Breast Augmentation and Medial Thigh Lift.

Gosh, you look fantastic! Can I ask what size implants and type you have? And have you had any shufting or unevenness...I went for a local consultation and the PS said that that is a common problem for bariatric patients.

Thank you:) I have 295 high profile Smooth Round Mentor under muscle and no I haven't had any if those problems. They look very natural, unless I tell people I got them done, they don't know. I am really happy with Dr G and my body.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

I may have to have gall bladder surgery during my weight loss surgery. Not thrilled about it either but do not want 2 recovery times. Just want it over with.

Thanks for your post. I may need to rethink my decision... :(
