So I had my sleeve march 18th day of I was 254 and I'm currently 240 mined you a lot of the weight lost was the first week but I can't seem to lose any weight. I been working out on the treadmill for 30min as of now I can't lift and I haven't lost any weight for almost two weeks now. TOM is almost over so I'm kinda confused. I drink two muscle milks and a Greek yogurt and I'm starting to be able to drink more Water. Have any of you gone though this? I guess I'm just disappointed in myself

It's perfectly normal to stall in your weight loss, especially between the two and four weeks out mark. If you don't believe me, use the search function here and look for "three week stall." You are not alone! Keep following your doctor's instructions and the weight will start to come off again. Don't be disappointed in yourself, you are doing great, I promise!

Don't be disappointed - it happens to almost everyone as Bufflehead stated above.

You just had major surgery and you're eating virtually nothing. Your body is thinking, "WTF????? What did you just do to me?" It's trying to figure out what just happened and how it's going to recover. You are still recovering. Be gentle with your body - if you take care of it, it will take care of you.

I have stalled numerous times in the past 4.5 months. They suck, but just stick to your plan - you'll come out on the other side of the stall just fine.

Hang in there, Sweetie. You didn't get to 254 pounds overnight - don't expect it to come off overnight. You're doing great.

Thank you so much. Your words have reassured me and that means a lot. Thank you for taking the time to read my post. I feel much better knowing I'm not the only one and that it happens.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
