I talked to my Dr. Today and he said hair loss is normally starts 3-6 months after surgery but it will grow back. He told me to double up on protein and biotin. I hope it works!

Oh yes, very common and not a lot you can do about it. Mine fell out badly for several months, just now starting to slow down a little bit, at least it's down to strands instead of globs coming out now. Lost about 2/3 of my hair.

I have read a lot about hair loss and mine started about 3 1/3 months out. I've lost almost half the volume of my hair. What I haven't been able to find is how long the loss lasts. Any ideas?

I read earlier it normally last about 6 month but will regrow slowly. Mine use to be strands but it's gotten worse especially today I totally freaked out.

I haven't been sleeved yet, but I heard about five months and then starts coming back in

Yep. Same thing is happening to me. Two other people I know told me the same thing. But they also said that it started coming back a few months after it started. It stinks and it's really scary. I'm trying very hard to eat more Protein and am taking Biotin.

I take biotin and try to get my protein in.i started biotin way before my surgery may 21,15

Yeah the 3 month mark seems to be just about right. At the 3rd month I started seeing globs of hair in my hand when I washed my hair, then a ton more on the floor when I blow dried. It was scary. But as they say, it will grow back. You will see lots of "baby hair" in the more skimpy areas and they will kind of stick up. I am 5 mths out of surgery and I think I can finally say, the globs has stopped. Now it is down to strands. Lots of it, but just not globs. So that is giving me an indication that the hair loss is slowing down. Plus I ordered this prodcut from a friend from "it works" and I can't wait to try it. It is for hair and nails. It is packed with Vitamins and minerals for hair.

My doctors office gave me a paper and it stated: if you take your vitamins and eat all your protein you should

have a better chance of not loosing hair.

I started losing my hair between 3and 4 months out. I lost a good bit of the volume of my hair. I started taking biotin and within a week it has dramatically decreased. I don't know if it's coincidence but I'll take it

I am doing all of that i am almost 3 months losing in the top,i already have thyroid disease

I am upping my protein and Biotin
