Anyone hear of Vanquish?

Recommended Posts

I've been seeing a lot of commercials in my area lately for a procedure called Vanquish. I have extremely good skin so I won't have a bunch of excess but I can still use some help with some of the loose fat. It's still too early for me but in 6 months I'm gonna look into this instead of plastics. It's a laser treatment that kills the fat cells which are then re- absorbed by your body. Tightens everything up and all of those old fat cells are gone. Anyone try this?

I've noticed it, too. What is that magic potion of life, diet and exercise that will break these infuriating plateaus? It is like the hurrieder I go, the behinder I get. I know I didn't sacrifice 85% of my stomach just to come to a screeching halt halfway there. Everyday, I just keep hacking away through this mysterious jungle of emotional and physical chaos, trying to find the new me on the other side. For people who call this the easy way out.........I want to smack you upside the head with a big dead fish!

I hear what you're saying but I can't quite figure out how it relates to my question? :)

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
