Most of the medication post op is in liquid, chewable or bilingual form....I hear that some people crush pain meds(those who were not prescribed liquid) but it's solely at the discretion of your surge

Post-Op I was prescribed liquid Lortab, however; I take a number of other medications I haven't had any problems swallowing them. I have a couple huge pills and I just break them in half and make sure

I was never told to crush or take liquid meds. I took all my pills from the beginning. My doc said if they are smaller than an eraser on a pencil, they were fine. Even capsules worked out fine.

I just got my surgery date- April 1- and I'm wondering what you guys did to take medicines post-op. How long did you all need to crush pills? I'm not looking forward to taking some of my medicines crushed.
