new & struggling to get in all my protein in & water in
Good afternoon Chammie, that is normal actually... i went through a tough time at 1st with protein and water intake. I sipped alot of broth and ate alot of popsicles and jello. I drank the chocolate premier protein shakes [2pr day, which is 60g of protein ] I followed my dr instructions to the letter,no cheating and the weight literally melted away. [i didn't start eating foods until 12 wks in actually] You should be able to start walking a treadmill next week...this will help.

Thank you for sharing, you look wonderful!- WHY STILL NAUSEOUS
I had nausea for the 1st 5 months post op...not every day, but a few times per wk. I took the meds religiously and chewed tums ,eventually it faded away- What is Your Goal Weight at 5'5
I am 5'4 and my goal weight was 170, my surgeon said 155...i am currently 165 [with a revised goal of 160]- Hernia?
Nothing unbearable, I knew of my repair prior to surgery... I experienced a little more nausea and I wasn't able to eat much, but I didn't complain as the scale kept dropping in numbers- Approved...AGAIN.

No one recognizes you even when you are staring them right in the face ????- African American vsgers!
Good afternoon, yes, every NUT advises differently. I know that the min intake for me is 60g and the max is 80 as your body really does not absorb much more than that per daily basis(or so my NUT says) lol I also take gummy Vitamins and sublingual B12 in addition to vit d3 2000 IU daily. I was fortunate not to lose my hair, was obsessing abut it and so I made sure to hit the Protein mark daily tin efforts to maintain. How are you feeling now?- African American vsgers!
GET OUR Proteins IN!!!! IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT YOU DO, AT LEAST 60GRAMS DAILY I have now started experiencing hair loss! I'm freaking out!- African American vsgers!
Hello Everyone, I am reading all of your posts/messages and responses... I would like to say congratulations to each and everyone of you on the courageous decision to have surgery. I was sleeved back on 2/27/2014 (under extreme duress) I went through a few hospital stays 4 (dehydration and subsequently learned that I am allergic to artificial sweeteners) I wanted to tell you all to be encouraged and truly work the process, give yourselves a chance, go at your own pace and watch the results! You will hit quite a few stalls and some will last for a few weeks at a time, but do not get discouraged, your body is simply trying to react to the rapid changes that it is going through. I was able to reach my goal in 8 months and 29 days after surgery 104 lbs lost!!!! what!!! yes!!!! Now, I am 5lbs past my goal !!!! I deal with the extreme physical changes that I see, some days are good and some are different, but I wouldn't trade it for the world. My quality of life and the ability to experience it at this size is priceless...I am still me, same woman...different size, I love it! Many blessings too all of you - Two Years, At Goal, Tummy Tuck Complications
