Feb 28 came so fast

I cannot believe surgery is tomorrow. This came really way too fast but not soon enough. The 14 day Bariatric Advantage diet was terrible but manageable. Surprisingly I have not been that hungry nor have I craved all the old food I used to eat. I think doing a farewell tour of my favorite food and analyzing why it was my favorite really help me understand what I ate and why.

Today I am going the pre-surgery cleansing routine that starting with downing a full bottle of Magnesium Citrate. It hasn't hit me yet but I plan to bolt to the bathroom at any moment because this puppy is about to blow. I'm a little excited and a little nervous. What happens, happens and I have every confidence in my medical team along with my family and friends.

So who else is getting sliced up tomorrow?

I'm not tomorrow but I am next week. It's funny isn't it...how it seems like forever and then sneaks up on you? Congratulations on your surgery. I can't wait to join the ranks of the recently sleeved! :)

Best of luck!!

Saying a little prayer for you and my Cubbies as well :)

Cub, I just got home yesterday from my surgery Monday. It was really a blur from Sunday night until now. Good luck.

Lol I was "sliced up" on Tuesday. Came home last night. Having trouble getting comfie but getting through it. Hope you have a speedy recovery!!

Congrats and well wishes for a super speedy recovery!! You are totally right...It's amazing how quick things sneak up on you. I'm still many weeks out from surgery, but its seems so long ago that I started my 6 months of classes that everyone said would go so quick. They may not have gone quick in the beginning, but it's flying by now!!
