  11. Wow this is very intersting post. I would never have thought of you MISS Diva as vain, you have always been so kind and helpful to all of us on this WLS journey. But if the side effect of loving your self from the inside out is what we are guilty of.. Then I raise my hand and say hell ya! I am finding my strenght back from hidding behind the fat robe as i call it.. It is nice to hear and i finally did that my hubby thinks I am hot! That is a nice and wonderful experince to be honest!

  13. I too am scared to get fitted last time i did the "girls" were closer to an EE then a DD that i thought they were. I have found out that getting fitted for a new bra is expensive but nothing feels as good as having the best under garments to start the day off right. My usual bra is a sports bra x2 at the gym. I found some good bra's at kohls that are from Madenform they are convertable and have side support as well. The best part is they have a little bit of underwire support and top support by a tiny small gel strip to keep the Girlies in place.
  14. Madame R, you kill me.. just have to remember that as i put on my 2 sports bras to keep the ladies up front. giggles.
  15. I always sneak in Snacks, hide it in my purse stash good snacks in the car and I always take a large container of Water too. I totally forgot about my card that the Dr gave me but I have learned to order food the way I can eat it. If I am at a place that only serves hamburgers then I order it with out a bun in a cup.. and I have my stash of apples. You can also take Protein shakes or drinks with you to help you over the time when every one is full and you know you need to get your every 2-3 hour meal in.
  16. After 5 weeks you life will begain to get easier. Start walking, invest in a fitbit like the nmjg said. Another thing since the weather has changed is to go swimming. What ever you do, move. Remember you had a lifestyle change so dont let your mind talk you out of getting the best that life has to offer you after you got your sleeve. Be encouraged your energy will improve with every step you take, ya just gotta take one!
  17. I had the lapband for 5 years and had complications with it. I have had the sleeve since January so I am today 4 months out!! I am so Thankful for this wonderful tool, a healthier lifestyle and the ability to say goodbye to 61 pounds.
  18. Rj, you are so funny.. Love the pic with the pop tart. Evidence or not you have gone through so much and have come so far that once in a while RJ ya just got have it. I think freezing treats is a good option too. Then if you must well the frozen treat makes it a slower process!
  19. I have heard some ladies do a fat transfer.. that could be a win, win.. But I wonder will the fat stay where it has been transfered ie: from Hips to boobies.. Or will they be like a retriver and try to go back from where they used to live??
  20. Well at least your not howling at the moon right before your TOM and going and having crazy sex.. lol So i digress, laughter helps. Also sugar free fudsicles help me too. They are 40 cals and they do the job!
  21. I hear ya Rj.. when it is an obsession stay away... I go to Panera bread with my friends and they laugh when i go up to the window with all the pastries and say Hello old lover!! Silly I know, but they are like an ex-lover and then I order a great salad with chicken and strawberries and I am a Happy camper. RJ, be strong and stay away from the old junk and stay strong!!
  22. I have an appointment to get my hair cut next week and my hair dresser is going to try a little microcurrent to wake up the hair folicals!! That a deep condition treatment and I hoping it will bring back the fullness of my hair. She said when you go through surgery your hairline thins out by your temples of your hair line especially from the anthesia. It will take a few months but soon baby hairs should be coming in.
  23. Some times you just need to take a bite of the food you are craving. What i do is measure a small amount of that food that i just want to try again. Then I immeidately put the rest away or dare i say put it in the garabage disposal. Perfect example, I made waffle's this morning for my daughter and her friend. It is the type that is made out of hearts and form a circle. I broke off a piece chewed it and then realized "This waffle that was so good in my past tasted good. But it wasnt that "Fabulas"... but i had an awe ha moment.. The rest went down the garbage disposal.
  24. Oh my goodness, i love avocados and would love to save the ladies.. so off to he store i go!! I've gone from 48DD to a 40D after 61 lbs gone. Hope and praying that the side fat disapears soon!
  25. Such a preety lady!!
