Had the band removed and was sleeved back in August..after losing 135lbs with the band and keeping it off I was disappointed when I started having issues with it. Three months after giving birth I had my band removed and sleeve done. As of today I have only lost thirty pounds. I have lost a lot of inches but the weight is a slow go. I was the same way with the band. I will confess exercise has taken a back seat due to work and the baby.

I guess I just figured being this far out I would have lost more weight. I am back on the Zumba train this week so hoping that will jump start it again. I am eating Protein for most of my meals, I don't drink liquid calories, don't drink with my meals.

I guess I just need some confirmation I can make this work!

I am a slow loser too, and I just realized how much I hate exercise. I guess it's not so much "hating" it, but getting bored with the same thing all the time.

Have you done Zumba before? Maybe if it is something you will enjoy and stick with, It will kick you back into the groove.

Sounds like you know what to do, just need some positive feedback. Drink your Water and keep up the good work. Time marches on, whether we are losing slow or fast. Even if you only lose 5 pounds a month for the next year, that's 60 pounds down !

Share with us what you are eating. Are you sticking with Protein first and then a little veggie? During my weight loss phase I ate protein with a little veggie rarely fruit or any other carb. I also kept my calories low from 700-900 calories. Losing weight is 90% food intake and 10% exercise; don't think that Zumba alone will make the weight fall off. Best of luck to you.

I did Zumba until I got pregnant, I lost 35lbs and a ton of inches but I was able to go five days a week now that is NOT the case.

Usually my day of meals consist of a Protein shake or spinach smoothie for Breakfast.

lunch is usually tuna pack or a salad that I eat the chicken out first then some veggies If I can handle it.

dinner is usually some chicken with a veggie, or some chili of some sort.

I really think my problem is my calorie intake is too less! There are some days once clocking in everything I'm not getting 500-600 calories a day!

I will admit last month I slacked off on counting Protein but getting back on track of that this month.

Exercise for me helped me just feel better and get in shape!

Suggestions I am open for them!

Go back to the basics. Use my fitness pal or some other nutrition counter and track what you are eating and drinking. Make sure you are eating at least 60g of Protein a day. Your menu looks very light and somewhat boring if you don't mind my saying. Maybe mix things up a little. chicken is great but maybe some variety. Protein shakes are great too but how about some eggs, cottage cheese, greek yogurt. I agree that exercise is only 10% of this formula.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
