Wow, I don't mean to be rude, but your doctors sound like pill pushers. Maybe do some research and find a doctor that can review what you are taking and try to get off some of them. That can't be healthy in anyway to take that many.

I friend of mine was on so many pills, that she ended up taking pills for pills she was taking. She went and got a 'second opinion' she went from 15 medications upwards of 50 pills a day to 3 medications and 6 pills, because the new doctor put her on the right stuff.

Worth a try.....

That's absolutely ridiculous! That many pills is not living, it's existing. I agree with what the above poster said about your doctors being drug pushers. If I were you I would get another opinion, unless you really like taking this many pills.

I couldn't imagine what that many pills do to your wallet every month. Not to mention your body.

Hopefully surgery will help you get off some of them too... My dog gave me some chewable and liquid meds to take right after surgery, this helped get them down until the tummy healed a bit... you can also get chewable vitamins... this helped me a lot.

They make me sick to take them, I hate it. They are from diff dr's

my reg dr. nurse called me to make an appt bc she hasn't seen me since nov idk why she has to see me anyway I have an appt for the 6th and I called the hosp pharmacist to tlk about all those pills. I pray I don't have to keep taking them all. a lot are for pain but the pain been ok, I take them everyday even if im not in pain bc I guess I have to, that's what the bottle says take everyday 3 times a day

Hope to stop them all soon

That's a heck of a drug list - I'm surprised you can stay awake or count past 3. I hope one pharmacy is taking care of all these prescriptions.

Just asking - does your primary care physician know about all these different prescriptions? Is someone reconciling the medications and telling you whether you have to take them or can postpone until you are in pain?

I would surely encourage you to get a single review by a doctor soon.

D3 and B-12 are available in chewable or dissolvable form (I am trying TwinLabs mini versions right now and so far they are fine). I take an approved Gummy bear type Vitamin.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
