  1. YAY YAY YAY!!!! My husband and I are TTC, I too am trying to find information on Vitamins. This is what I have been told by my surgeon.... Take prenatal vitamins with additional calcium, stop taking the bariatric vitamins until you give birth, then go back on the bariatric vitamins. I will be talking to my OBGYN, to confirm this. I was affaird that I would OD on vitamins and wanted to make sure that I would be getting what I need and of course waht the baby will need. Looking forward to hearing others peoples thoughts and comments....

  9. For me its more of a size then a weight. I would like to get down to size 8/10. If thats at 200lbs great, if thats at 150lbs that even better.
  10. Hi everyone, So I was sleeved 15 days ago, I love to have a cup or two of coffee in the morning but since I have been sleeved. FORGET IT! Gross is all I have to say. I think my tastebuds have changed, its not that it hurts my tummy, its my tastebuds. I like coffee, plain and black. But I just find it tastes gross to me now. Anyone else find this, is there any other food that you use to eat but just cant stand the taste of since being sleeved? Oh well, I guess I will trade it for tea....good thing I also LOVE tea.
  11. As for over under calculating, i just trust the unit. I picked the one the had the best reviews for me and for what I was looking for. I read a lot of reviews

  13. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/992573-fitbit-flex-vs-one-review Check out this link, the lady in my office did the same thing as this lady in this post.
  14. I have one love it, mine is one my hip. I think it is called fitbit one. Anyways a lady in my office has both the force and the one I have, as she didn't know which one to buy. Is sits at a desk and does a lot of computer work. She has given up on the force because it was 10-15% more steps in a day. Because of wirst movement. She now uses the hip one only.
  15. They taste great but for me I don't think I will continue, the carbs and sugars are high
  16. Wow, I don't mean to be rude, but your doctors sound like pill pushers. Maybe do some research and find a doctor that can review what you are taking and try to get off some of them. That can't be healthy in anyway to take that many. I friend of mine was on so many pills, that she ended up taking pills for pills she was taking. She went and got a 'second opinion' she went from 15 medications upwards of 50 pills a day to 3 medications and 6 pills, because the new doctor put her on the right stuff. Worth a try.....
  17. Sorry, I'm paying for my surgery out of pocket. What does EOB mean? My husband and I are both getting sleeved, im a revision and our combined total is less than $20,000

  20. I was so mad at her. I had to keep reminding myself that she is sick in the head, she need to see a psychologist. She was completely in another world. And to lie to a nutritionist in front of her son, just proves that point.
  21. So I have what looks like a battle ground for a belly. I have had the lap band surgery (5yrs ago) and had my gallbladder removed (4yrs ago), needless to say I have a belly full of scars. Some of which you can still see and some are so faded I can hardly see them any more. Now, I am three weeks out from getting sleeved, I know they will put more holes in me, but will they use the same incision location or will I get new ones? Im thinking I will get new ones because I dont think scared skin will heal again. People that have had both surgeries or just one of the ones I mentioned, are the scars longer or the same for the sleeving surgery? Calling all guru's...!
  22. Look at you go! I mean gone, look at you, your gone! Keep up the hard work.
  23. I want to learn to figure skate, I can stake just not very well.
