Hi I am in day 4 of my pre op diet. I am scheduled feb 10th for my gastric sleeve. I am wondering if there are some filling recipes anyone has found for the pre op. I'm starving!

If I take to big of a drink it hurts but then I can actually feel it draining into my stomach.

I KNOW!!!! It's like you can actually FEEL digestion occurring. Eeek

Yeah I get that too. Very strange feeling but I'm starting to get used to it

I had my post op appointment on Tuesday. The P.A said those spasms and those feeling eventually resolve once your stomach realizes it can do the same job digesting with 80% of its power. I look forward to that day. Other thing I dislike is the feeling I have to belch and it just seems to get trapped up in my esophagus along with the embarrassing gurgling.

My bestie is almost two years out and still burps. After anything going in. And I swear I can sometimes hear her stomach across the entire room. Lol

great! LOL Other problem I have had since surgery is insomnia. I am frikken exhausted and can't sleep. Have no idea WTH is up with that. I usually fall asleep around 430am and my son wakes me up bright and early at 730. Its been a barrel of fun lemme tell you.

Lots and lots of threads about it. My bud, indecision, is at goal. Gets like 4 hrs of sleep. Says he can't sleep past 4am. That is something I hope like heck to dodge as I've already got severe sleep apnea and feel tired constantly.

I have no problem sleeping! Thank God! But I am wondering if any of u are having bowel movements? I haven't had one since Sunday. And so I have just contributed it to not having any roughage to digest.

Yeah I don't have any trouble sleeping either thankfully!!!! I have had 3 or 4 movements since I've been home. My first one wasn't until Thursday tho

Constipation is normal. Tell your doctor and they will suggest a laxitive.

Drink plenty of water to help relieve constipation

I'm drinking a TON of water and it doesn't help me. I have to take 2 stool softeners a day and I MIGHT, if I'm lucky, go.

I'm about to break on this diet. I can't take it I want to eat something.

you can do this. You will succeed because you are strong and your spirit can't be broken.

Thank you! It's the feeling weak and headaches I can't take

Shaylove, go read the encouragement needed thread. Yes, you can do this. I'm on day 11 and haven't snapped and roasted my dog for dinner yet. If I can do this so can you
