Pre op diet

Hi I am in day 4 of my pre op diet. I am scheduled feb 10th for my gastric sleeve. I am wondering if there are some filling recipes anyone has found for the pre op. I'm starving!

That's good! I'm doing ok minus the very sharp gas pains in the left side of my stomach and a little tight cuz I can't walk around much since mother nature decided to give us another foot of snow!!

That's actually common. They pump you full of fluids and you can stay bloated for quite a while.

And I haven't eaten anything! Today was the first day I was able to do a protein drink and drink some broth.

Well I don't like it! Lol I'm paying a lot of money and enduring a lot of pain to lose weight! I better start losing soon... Talk about discouraging!

I'm 10 days post op and I finally saw the scale move today! Must have been pretty overloaded with fluid and swelling. I'm so impatient too.... Everytime I get off the couch I ask my husband "am I skinny yet?"

You will. Just hang on tight, your ride has just begun. :)

I haven't weighed myself yet. I'm waiting til my first follow up on Tues

My appetite was pretty strong today actually! I kinda felt hungry all day. I had 2 shakes, some sugar free jello, broth and a lot of water. Keep your head up. I'm sure you'll definitely have lost some weight by the 25th!!

I did really well, and still am with the shakes.. I can get them down no prob. The soft diet I am on now is a bit challenging. I can only take a couple bites without my stomach going in to spasms. I am certain it gets better but I am feeling super fatigued. Hoping I get some energy soon. I only have one week left b4 I have to go to work.

I notice I get those same spasms when I drink to fast. I really hope it goes away!
