I found that the scrambled eggs that I once used to love now give me a bad case of the back- door trots lol

For me it's milk. Even lactose free milk. Now I'm finding it's even soy milk. WTH!!! Guess I'm meant to never drink any type of milk again. :(

And I had surgery on march 18th. So like 17 days postop. What am I doing wrong?

I'm stalled too. I refused to weigh this am. It's do frustrating. You're prob not doing anything wrong. Just your body going nuts. It's the dreaded 2 or 3 week post op stall. I'm 400-700 Cal a day and scale won't budge.

If you're constipated, try and find Smooth Move Tea. I bought it at my health food store. It took care of my Constipation problem. As far as milk goes, I use almond milk and haven't had any trouble. You might also try Hemp milk. I didn't really like the flavour of the Hemp. I had my surgery on Monday and got home today. Believe it or not, I pooped today. I couldn't believe it but I was thankful, lol.

I was on Miralax for days before I finally went. It took adding MOM, Smooth Move tea, and Fiber gummies to cause the dam to break. I started on Probiotics last night and I had my first "normal" poo since surgery (just over 3 weeks ago). I also had cramps from it but I guess it's a trade off. For me, the Constipation made it so much harder to get in fluids.

I'm on purée stage but I'm finding it hard to consume a full serving (3 oz) and that makes if really hard to track my nutritional intake. Anyone else ?????

Usually depends on what I am eating. I was allowed scrambled eggs on pureed and I could only stand a couple bites. But then if I was eating, say, Tomato Soup, I could definitely get in 3oz or so.

For me, I eat until I am full, and that's it. Even if it is only two bites. I'm not going to force down 3oz and be uncomfortable just because a piece of paper says so :P.

I measure everything. Normally I fill up my 4ounce (1/2 cup) bowl and it just depends on whether I eat it all. I can definitley take in more with Soup. Eggs are the easiest for me. One egg, a dash of milk, low fat cheese - I can only finish about 3/4 of the egg but it sits well and keeps me full. Eggs and chicken salad are the easiest by far. Im so ready to move beyond puréed and mushies.

I find that anything with more than 12gm of sugar sends me running. My Doc called it rapid transit. I have to be very careful.

I had surgery march 27.

It went really well no pain except for a lil left shoulder pain from gas, but that it. I never took any pain meds.

I was up walking around the recovery room 45 mins after surgery. It went so well I was sent home the next day.

I've been able to lay on both my sides from day 1 & on my stomach by day 3. I haven't had any problems drinking the Protein Shakes or drinking Water. Not getting in enough water yet on 20 oz & 2 12 oz shakes a day.

I get out walking at least 30 aday since day 4.

Im down 12 pounds since surgery, 1 werk & a day ago.

I start pureed foods next Friday and welcome any suggestions.

I woke up one week after surgery nauseous from the Constipation. This is what they told me to take and it has been working perfectly. I have had a bowel movement EVERY DAY since then. I take Metamucil (psyllium fiber) and a stool softener (such as Colace) every day. They also said, if you do that and nothing happens within a few days then you can try a laxitive. But I haven't had to resort to that. It's also going to help if you can get you 64 ounces of Water in.

I also can not have milk, even lactose free. I don't like the almond flavor. I like and can handle sweet acidolphilus milk. Tastes great and no rapid transit!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
