Just attended my first group meeting last night...it was good and will try to go as much as possible. Even thought I don't like sharing my issues. I was ok talking and there was not much people.

Thanks so far the only pains were I took we're in hospital. Thanks for the advise though. Didn't think of it making things worse. I was also given meds to pass stone. Hopefully it doesn't take too long. I have my 4 week sleeve post op appt Monday.

Had to go to ER last night with trouble left side back pain. CT came back with 1 cm kidney stone. Home now, have to pass stone and deal with constipation at same time. Help things look up soon!

Crazyjane---I too am constipated. It's been 1 1/2 weeks. Called doctor today and was told I could try miralax. After reading your post I think I will take half the dosage. Don't want to be up all night. Scale is not moving and I'm hoping that's why. One month post op appt Monday! Hopefully I can starting having soft foods, purée is getting old!

It all depends on how you heal. Everyone is different. I wouldn't be able to, but some people do.

Yes area of incision, where stomach was pulled out. Per husband dr said it would be sore for 2 wks. ( I don't remember that, but I was out of it). Also have numbness below that same area.

Yes you are not alone thinking you can't do it but you can! I was the same way 5 day into my preop diet. I came to this site for encouragement. Now 4 days post op and I know it will take time but I'm starting to lose weight and its so worth it. You can do it

How is everyone doing these last couple day post surgery? It was a little hard starting out but everyday is getting better. Protein shakes are not easy getting down. Cold Water taste so much better!

Sunshine81 Glad you are able to get around more than me. I still have pains in stomach area. My surgery was Monday 3/10/14.

Day 2 postop-feeling much better! Will start protein shakes today. Still sore but getting better. Good luck to everyone!
