I bought a Squatty Potty about two weeks post-op, and I'm SO glad I did! I've not had a problem with Constipation or regularity since. I'd been looking at buying one for a long time, but couldn't justify the cost. I had a step stool in the bathroom instead, but it just wasn't a very effective help. After a couple of trips to the store post-op for all kinds of meds and tools to help me go, I decided to pull the trigger and buy the Squatty Potty. I bought the three pack from the website, so they were only about $20 each, and NO KIDDING, so easy to go. I'm not using any o the MOM, Miralax, Colace, etc. I bought early on, and I go several times a week with ease. no constipation or hemmeroid issues, though I average about 85g of Protein each day, and my WL has not stalled once.

Thanks for the info. I never heard of this until I read your post. I went and looked it up on the internet and read all around great reviews about the product. As a result I just ordered the two pack from Amazon.< /p>

3-5x a day. Chronic diarrhea. History of IBS and I suffer from dumping syndrome as well. It's a battle every day. I never pass up a bathroom!

I'm only going once every couple of days and I would LOVE to go every day I think that is why I'm experiencing some bloating in my tummy area. I have been taking a daily Fiber in my drink to give me what I'm not eating and taking a probiotic. I'm hoping as I get back into normal foods that is will help me out in that department.

Ok now I am I wondering if I am ok. I only go once a week AT BEST. Sometimes every week and half. I had to start keeping track on my calendar because I cannot remember the last time I went. I take stool softeners but not regularly. I didn't realize until after reading this post that I was not normally going. What pro biotic is everyone taking? I really don't know what to do. Sometimes my stomach will ache like I have to go but nothing.

Every 3-4 days and with a little milk of magnesia. In between I feel a little bit 'gloopy' and bloated. I'm almost a month out and figure tummy is getting used to its bad new self.

5-8 times a day. Always loose and broken. Every now and again slight discomfort in lower intestines is a warning to find a toilet. No color changes and almost like clockwork 20 to 45 min after eating. Surgery was Feb of 2017. Got thru the liquid diet but still can't seem to to get my sh!t together....see what I did there? :D

My surgeon told me it was normal in the soft/normal food stage to only go once every 1-3 days. I've been using milk of magnesia about 1-2 times a week and that seems to help. Just have to be careful with that stuff, taking too often can lead to dehydration for some people

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
