January 17, 201412 yr Author if YOU keep going, you will get there... focus on inches LOST as that is true WEIGHT LOSS
January 17, 201412 yr Love this! I remember thinking when I had lost 40 lbs. it was like I had been walking around with 8 5-lb. bags of sugar. What a load. No wonder I am not gasping for breath! I always equate 5 lbs. of sugar with 5 lbs. Keeps it real. .
January 17, 201412 yr Thanks CG! I love it! Saw my Dr. today and I lost 3lbs!! So that's about 1 1/2 of those grapefruits no wonder my pants are falling down! I'm happy and TGIF!!!! Ready for a nice long (but wet and cold) weekend! My kids are going to hate it...as they will be cleaning out the basement and re-organizing the attic I've heard recently how much better they liked it when I was tired on the weekends....oh well!!! They aren't paying rent, so they will be working for me this weekend
January 17, 201412 yr Great post, CG! Those visuals are really something. Only a pound -- well, give me that a hundred times and WOW-ZA!

January 17, 201412 yr Love it what an eye opener.. i really needed that.. here i was all sad because my scale only says 38 lost.. but heck if some one was to ask me to carry around what equals about 27 grapefruits i would think they where insane...
January 17, 201412 yr Wow.....wow.....wow. Two years ago on a family vacation in Chicago, we visited a museum that had a similar display. They also showed a cross section of a muscular thigh and a FAT thigh. I remember what an impact that picture and that display had on me. It was really one of a few catalyst that slapped me across the face to TAKE CHARGE OF MY LIFE, MY HEALTH, and MY FUTURE!
January 17, 201412 yr I am happy even if I lose one lb or 5 lbs I will take any loss as I have and will , also it is a lb not a pound cake lmao so I will take that lb loss and walk or in some peoples case run with it lol.
January 17, 201412 yr I'm in!!!! It would take 181.4 pennies to equal one pound. I think I just found a new way to save.....hmmm....could be a nice way to reward myself as I shed those pounds.... Edited January 17, 201412 yr by lisacaron
