I used to fear my clothes dryer....

Recommended Posts

4 months ago I used fear putting my clothes into a hot dryer due to fears of my jeans, sweaters and shirts shrinking and getting too small. Flash forward and now I put everything into the dryer without any reservations and sometimes I actually try to shrink my stuff! It's a small NSV , but a victory none the less for me. From a size 2xl to L in 3 1/2 months feels surreal to me still.

I hear you!!! I wish I could shrink some things...like my Quaker Factory sweaters...oh how I hated giving those up to Goodwill... but it's fun being on this side isn't it!!! I never worry about the dryer anymore either! Never thought of it before, but you are SO right about that!

Too funny and so true Janet! I don't fear folding clothes in front of others anymore either.

Too funny! ...Me too!

But...Were we shrinking clothes or gaining a few ozs every week?

I think the latter. W

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
