Dorian thats great I switch surgeons because the first surgeon I met with was nice and I met with the nutrition but they never gave me any directions as to who I need to contact regarding my psy eval or anything else and they failed to return telephone calls. I am now with a state of excellence bariactric program and I had all of my required appointments schduled on my first meeting with them along with a binder which consist of about 400 pages of what to expect and everything I was very impress. There is a long waiting list to see the surgeon though but there program has been excellent so far. I also have a specialist who will follow and assist me 1 year after I have had my surgery.

  • I just got my exit interview (psych eval) 2 weeks ago and seeing my primary this Monday. I will then be officially referred to the surgeons office for consult. Not sure yet how long it takes but since the last time I posted it's been about 5 weeks. Hang in there we will get through this.

Update. I finally got in to see the surgeon for consultation on April 11. I am now working on cardiac and pulmonary clearances. Still in process. How are you?
