What specifically do you want help with ? I sent u a PM if u prefer that.

Try small, frequent, high Protein meals and Snacks, don't try to go low fat ( I eat 5-6 a day) Drink lots of Water but not during or half hr after meals.

Examples of what I eat:

Turkey Jerky

1 fried egg on 1slice light (35 calorie toast) with a slice of cheese on it

Half a large apple w BP

Light yogurt

Half a sandwich made w 1slice light (35 calorie) bread toasted or grilled.

Cup of Soup or chowder. NO crackers

salad w meat, cheese

3 oz protein and small amount of veggies

Cucumber slices, baby carrots and ranch dip

Hey piano gal i got to 158 and now stuck at 176 for months it's crazy i did the 5 day test lost like 2 lbs. I feel discouraged because i excersize 5 days a week and wouldn't go over 1250 calories a day. Take all the proper Vitamins i also have bipolar and take medication and that actually helps aid in weight loss what i take and it's not. I take melatonin i sleep 4 to 5 hours and once in a blue moon i get 6 I'm happy those nights. I just had back surgery last month luckily haven't gained i know it is gonna be rough yet again. I have PCOS and hypothyroidism due to the gastric bypass 2 severe ulcers 3 hernias removed gallbladder out i did it all right but obstacles keep getting thrown at me it sucks i know. Somewhere in my depressed mind i know there has to be some hope because what else do we have left. We did all this and for what? We all knew it wasn't gonna be easy and some people are damn lucky to have the weight just shoot on off but those like me and you we have to fight damn hard and I know I cry some days and tell myself it's not fair but then I say snap out of it. Anyway enough of my preaching lol if you need to talk I am hear for you I know how it is. And by the way my doctor said to me it's normal to gain 15 lbs or so after to stop losing and start eating normal foods again.

There was a study done that proves lack of sleep and or stress will make you retain fat...until the stress is addressed it will be tough to lose the weight.

Xx

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
