I don't what's going on. I have not lost a pound in 5 days. I'm tracking all my fod and it is all clean, and within guidelines. I'm actually taking in less ounces than I should because I just run out of room.

I'm back to get my liquids in after dehydration episode. I tried to email my dietician but she no longer works for surgeon anymore she went back to school.

I just want to knowing this is normal. I was steadily losing weight but seem to have come to a standstill. I don't have a monthly cycle so I don't know if it is Water retention or what.

I know what's going on - you are normal! :) I remember stressing about it, too. I think for me it was because I was just overly focused and time didn't move fast enough for me. I wanted to lose a lot, every day! In fact, I still do ;) Just take a deep breath, keep doing what you are doing, and it will come off.

How long has it been since your surgery? Everyone goes through the 'stall'. I am about 24 days post op and have been in a stall since for three days so far. I prepared myself so I wouldn't get discouraged...they say your body is finally catching up to the surgery, and is adjusting...just keep hanging on...I've decided to not weigh in for a few days.

Almost every month, I lose during 2 of the weeks & then don't really lose anything the other 2 weeks. Sometimes it's 2 straight weeks of loss, followed by 2 weeks of a pause, and sometimes it's lose, pause, lose, pause. Just recently, I stalled for a full month & just kept fluctuating between the same 2 pounds. This week, I suddenly dropped 7 lbs. It's weird how it works & everybody is a little different. Don't sweat the short view, just focus on the long term.

There will be weeks the scale doesn't move.

Try not to let it bother you.

Keep with your program and the scale will continue to move down :)

Monday will be 4 weeks post surgery. My boss who did bypass 10 years ago and has kept it off tod me women tend to stall more than men. But it is normal to stall. I just have to keep my head up and keep going. And might still be some recovering from being back in the hospital.

I had this stupid fear going into this that I wouldn't work and I wouldn't lose so I am letting this freak me out. I need to stop stressing or as my boss says jump ff the crazy train! Lol!

I know I am 4 weeks out and stalled for about 1.5 weeks and it was really frustrating. However, I could tell I was losing inches. And then the scale started moving again. I knew about the stalls but it is still frustrating!

I should do a quick measurement check...maybe that will help through the stall...good idea!

I did not weigh for a few days and waited till my one month follow up today. I broke through and I am down 3 pounds. Doc feels it might have been because of then dehydration my body was retaining Water. Could have also been my sodium level. Who knows. It is just something that happens and doc is happy with my progress and I will be too.

It is not going to happen as fast as I think it should or want it to but it will happen. I know I am eating clean and doing what I am suppose to

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
