sickness bug- could it damage band

help I have had a 24hr vomiting bug - first time in years , wouldn't normally be over worried except now I have band [ fitted 23/11/2012] , I have now managed to keep liquids down so having slimfast shakes , no pain so hope there will be no ill effects with band ? any experiences of same ?

    You probably did nothing to the band if its been that long ago. The band develops scar tissue to attach its self to the wall of your stomach. Call your doctor anyway to make sure he feels its fine.
