For the past few days I have been having issues trying to have a BM. But I will have has an a pink brownish tinged miscues in the toilet and on the tissue paper. I have absolutely no pain. Just tired but this the season to be exhausted. Has anyone else experienced this?

I would get in touch with the surgeon as the painless doesn't sound right.. just to be on the safe side. Good luck.

has it been a while since a normal BM? Possibly you are impacted. Definitely should be mentioned to your dr. as blood should always be looked into to find the source

It's from being constipated. It happens to me more than I hope for. My doctor's nurse told me to start with Milk of Magnesium(mom) at night when I feel backed up and if that doesn't work take a stool softener every night before bed. MOM didn't work the greatest for my, but the softener did.

Are you male or female? Is this coming from your butt or other area? (sorry if it's personal) I ask because I am a month and 2 days post op and for the past week and a half I have been having this vaginal (TMI) discharge that is brownish pink and thickish. I don't itch, burn, or have any signs of any type of infection, so I'm not sure of what it could be. I don't hurt or cramp or anything. That is why I asked. I want to know if we are experiencing the same thing. LOL! If you are male or it is coming from your hiney, then we probably aren't experiencing the same thing. Would love to know if anyone knows what this could be. I only have one period a year pre op, and true to form I started my period a couple of days before my surgery (and was on it during surgery sadly :(...) And this is around the time that I started last month and I do notice that around the time I am supposed to start I just get discharge, but never blood. I am not really bleeding. I thought I was (early start of period), but I only got the brownish blood looking stuff whenever I wiped. Now after a week or so the brownish color stopped, but I am still gettng thick clear discharge. So, I don't know if that was a type of period or what in the world is going on. My body just never wants to cooperate! Any guesses?

You have a different "issue" I suspect. Lots of women get their periods soon after surgery even if they have been very irregular for years. Your hormones start to regulate well before you lose significant weight.

And be careful. That copious clear discharge can indicate the time in your cycle when you are very fertile. Look up "egg white cervical mucus" if you are curious. I hope you are using protection if necessary. :)

About a month after my surgery I started having a horrible time with Constipation. I started taking a Fiber capsule every day with my Vitamins and that seems to have taken care of any problems.

Be careful with the Smooth Move tea. It uses senna which can cause damage to your intestines with continued use. There are better options. Speak to your surgical team and see what they suggest.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
