I read a post about these and ordered them - a LOT better than the Isopure clear IMO. Smaller portion size to get a decent amt of Protein, better tasting and they don't have that weird afterfeel in your mouth like Isopure gave me:

I ordered the two different samplers. That's probably what I'll get again because I like the variety. Not cheap, but worth it to me.

Hope this helps someone :girl_hug:

I have read your posts elsewhere and just wanted to say hi. I also want to thank you for your comment about Protica, I went ahead and ordered the 2 samplers. I am very allergic to soy, so it has been quite a challenge to come up with variations on plain whey shakes. The other reason I wanted to introduce myself (this is my first ever post, I've been a lurker for some time) is that I read that you are a March bandster with Dr. Ortiz, and I have a surgery date with him March 20th. (I will add my post to the March bandsters soon. I signed up a little while ago, and like an idiot forgot my password.) I just wondered if you would care to share with me your experience, as I am, like everyone seems to be before surgery, excited and nervous at the same time. Or maybe you can direct me to a thread where you've already posted your comments (I didn't see it in the March bandsters thread). Thanks for your posts, I find them helpful and interesting.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
