I Bought My First Bikini

Recommended Posts

Wow, what a strange coincidence! Maybe we will run into each other. ;)

What a coincidence! I'm going on a cruise to Key West and Cozumel too starting Jan 6th. I hear its a GREAT time for a cruise. Lots of fun I'm thinking! ;)

I'm in for an annual vacation! You will enjoy Atlantis!

Anyone going to be at the Atlantis/Bahamas?

Just makes me wanna start up a lapband annual vacation, how awesome would that be?

I once spent 8 days at the Atlantis. It was the best vacation I had with my family. My sons were around 18 & 21 then, so they had their own room. It is the best place to go. Very very expensive. The food prices are very high. We did the meal plan.

At this time in my life I can't afford the Holiday Inn down the street. Hope that changes soon.

If you all go enjoy it. The best Water park and aquarium in the world.

The fact that I own and ride a Harley Fat Boy should answer that question :D

Nonononoon you have to get your license..

Hubs took me riding and in less than 6 months I was like "no more riding on the back nonsense"

He was sweet, took the motorcycle training class with me even though he's been riding for over 10 years :)

Besides, nothing beats riding a big bike and have the guys go gaga <snicker>

Haz, this will be your first bikini of many, dollface. I remember that first bikini, I was so pleased! Now that bikini, if cut up, would make 3 of the ones I know wear! LOLOL! I complete forget I have scars most of the time, and I have some BIG scars!

Gonna go perve on your bikini pics now. :P

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Anyone had the TORe procedure? How did it go? How much weight did you loose?

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Your so close now! It's gonna be great :) Wishing you a speedy recovery and looking forward to seeing how it goes!

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
