I consume about 500 per day which I think is too low but can't help it. You?

I'm 3 1/2 mths out and I eat less than 1,000. Rarely go over that. And I no longer do Protein shakes so all of thats just food

I eat on the higher side of everyone on here. I only have 22 lbs to goal (was a band revision) and I'm in no hurry, so I'd rather eat more and have less losses...

I think I am eating about 800 i don't know if that is too much. .
I cringe every time I see a thread that mentions calories...... I seem to be eating many more calories than most on here. I average 1200 I am less than 3 months out I have lost 70 pounds but my weight loss has slowed recently to a pound or two a week. I am eating clean very few carbs and drinking plenty of Water but compared to some on here I am gorging myself. The guys at work laugh at my meals. 6 ozs of lean meat for lunch. I would like feed back also

I'm three weeks out today, and I'm eating 600-750 per day. No more than one 10 oz Protein Drink per day.

It sounds like it is working for you. I don't think loosing more than 2 lbs a week is healthy. Congratulations!

I'm 6 months post-op and get about 1000 a day. Really between 800-1200 depending on my day, and if I get Breakfast in or not.

I'll be 3 weeks out on monday. .. if I get 400 cals I consider it a good day. I can't even imagine doubling that! The extra energy a lack of shaky-ness that comes from consuming calories would be nice though :)

I'm 4 weeks out and get between 1000-1200 depending. I've lost about 25 lbs since 10/6. (262 to 236.3)

Three months and four days ago... I was in Costa Rica having a life changing surgery! Yesterday we had a followup visit with Dr. Esmeral via video chat and this morning my middle number changed.  I'm down 47lbs and two pants sizes. I can wear a Large tshirt for the first time in like... 14 years! Woot!! Everything is going great. I have zero regrets. I went down to the riverwalk with a friend and walked 2 miles on Monday without even getting fatigued. And no more snoring or chugging pickle juice for crazy leg cramps! I need to go to the gym more... I'm making new shirts next week so that will motivate me. LOL But I'm also just not as TIRED all the time! I have a LONG way to go...but seeing the progress on the scales and in the mirror is a huge motivator!! Thank you all for cheering me on and supporting me!!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.
