You may need to do chewables for a while if the pills bother you. Flintstones chewables seem to be popular on the site. I use vitafusion gummies because they taste so dang good!

Did you take it with food, or on an empty stomach? In general it's best to take Vitamins with food, because they need food to do their best work. Jean Z

Why don't you wait for a couple of days and try again? Things change quickly during the first few days and you may be able to better tolerate it in a few more days. If that doesn't work, I'd ask the doctor to suggest a different brand.

I almost gagged and threw up with a cinnamon flavored Calcium chewable, but do just fine with a caramel flavored chewable. Makes little sense sometimes :)

I took the bariatric chewables in the beginning & they made me nauseous. My nurse told me to only take them after I had eaten...but I still got sick from them fairly often. I don't know if it was psychological or what, but eventually I gave in & switched over to One A Day gummies. They may not be quite as good as the bariatric ones, but it's better than nothing.

That was my first thought (take with food) But, I'm still on a liquid diet so there really isn't any substance. I had been sipping on some broth beforehand. Maybe I'll try again when I get to full liquids (puddings, heavier soups) Hopefully, that will make a difference. If not ill try another brand.

Even though you are not on foods yet defiantly make sure you have taken in as much liq as you can before you chew your Vit. I did same thing after surg and girl know your pain! But once I filled my little pouch with warm broth I was able to take my Vit with no problem. Also, I was on the bariatric vit's which where about the size of a nickel (chewable) and my new pouch just didn't like them, once I switched to the flinstone vit's , I was just fine. So you may need to try different vit's, everyone is different as well as our little pouches! Just need to find that certain one that works for you. LOL I'm stuck with a huge bottle of Bariatric orange flavored chewable vitamins that I paid $30.00 for and my new belly doesn't like them... oh well my kids em! lol.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
