Someone had to say it. You're right, it's quite annoying sometimes.

I am yet to be sleeved (October 22nd), but I give everyone on this forum permission to slap me silly if I ever waste your time with either of the following posts:

1. Dreaded 3 week stall (what should I do?)

2. I have not lost weight in 2 days HELP!

I WILL remember that...LOLOLOLOLOL

I do agree you are correct...although I probably have whined a time or two! :P BUT...I will do my dead-level best to refrain and ONLY whine to you from now instead of a random life or death post! heeheehee! I'm only teasing ya!! :D:rolleyes:

Must follow this thread if only for entertainment purposes lol.

And by the way, I had a baggie size serving of movie theatre popcorn this weekend and the earth stopped moving, there was chaos in the streets and I think I may have lost 10 hairs. This is exactly what I expected to happen though :)

Many thanks, darlings. I just had to say it as it is...

Super BonBon - My advice for your number 2 if anyone were silly enough to ask me, would be to 'go and have a number 2' :D

Redbean - You're welcome to come and whine at me all you like! Just don't tell me you've eaten half a lettuce leaf and you're feeling 'guilty'!

A little early for the combative stage (that usually hits 4 weeks post op)

This surgery is not a cure.. (Duh)

In fact it can be a major head game sometimes. As for bad choices? I guess you can call us all idiots because that's what got us here..

I cannot wax poetic like you, so I won't try. But falling off of the wagon eating a carb laden food is the beginning of the end for some.. It's really hard to know by just reading a post and forming an opinion about it.

Power. I felt I had none when it came to food. I am not an idiot, but no matter what the diet or the therapy my food consumption was beyond my control most days.

Control, I have a shaky grasp on it now.. My hands are tired and weak at the moment..

One taste, one bite.....taste, comfort, relaxing, friend. The hole is there, it is waiting to be filled. I am ( inset months) I am not cured the draw is strong.

I'm happy for those of you that have it all figured out though...

Huh!!?? OMG, Laura or myself make the smallest of peeps regarding this same topic and all we get is self-righteous and how we should be more sensitive and supportive from you ...

You know what makes me crazy? Is someone who will criticize on one post, then turn around and do the exact opposite on another.

BTW, Madam, you are spot on. This is one of the leading reasons I take breaks from the site from time to time.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
