So i heard on TV the other night that CVS has jumped on the Obama "care-less" wagon.

Don't you think every drug store will participate. If you are that naïve to believe that only CVS will participate then so sad for you. Done here I am not arguing about what I believe in.

WellWellw Well let's just get it straight. Obamacare was Romneycare and passed by the congress with more republican votes when it was **** Mitt Romneys idea. For those who think that people should not have insurance then something is wrong. There is absolutely nothing wrong with people being able to purchase health insurance because frankly I am tired of my home taxes going to local hospitals to pay for these damn people who need their drugs and take up valuable beds in the ER and never pay their bill. Say what you want but if you didn't have health insurance you would be glad to have it. Most people do not research they only talk from blogs they have read. Go to the government website and see what it offers. I am sure if your children or parents had no insurance you would be glad they could get it.

I wouldn't go as far as saying almost everyone liked Romneycare. In fact I would say most didn't care for Romney. Ask the small business owners and ask the ones who couldn't afford it and then got penalized on their taxes. Romneycare was just coming into play when I moved out of the State. World of difference between NH and MA.

i get my meds at Kmart..... learned last week that my health insurance is going to double to almost $1000. a month. for my family.

I am from Boston and I have Romney care. Without it my husband would have been F**Ked. He has major health issues and 2 years ago was so sick he saw about 5-6 doctors a week. He took then about 20 different meds a day he now down slightly. He is on SSD since age 61. Health insurance is very important. He uses Walmart for meds and they have been with him through all his issues. I use Walgreens.

every one is going to be paying more for insurance premiums, prescriptions and dr visits with the new Obama care. I figured out for my son this year we paid $900 since May for his dr visits and treatments for scleroderma. I used the chart for my insurance next year and the same visits would have cost 2700... I am really worried. I will never be able to afford his healthcare next year.

Just because a country has socialized medicine doesn't mean it's successful.

Why do you think so many of those countries highlighted on that map have people coming to the US for medical treatment? Because they can't get what they need at home or don't have specialists able to treat them.

Nearly all of the countries that have socialized healthcare coverage have higher success rates medically than the US. Their citizens are happier with their healthcare overall than many US citizens are with their pay-to-play insurance coverage. There have been learning curves in some countries, and not all have managed to keep socialized care because they could not manage their expenses; which makes me think the US is clearly not grown up enough to manage socialized care right now either. Until we establish that a middle class is wholly necessary and that unending wealth is killing our country, we will not be in a position to do anything helpful or healthy at all. That is an entirely different discussion.

The point is, many countries manage socialized health care very well and quite successfully. Hell, even CUBA has a better track record than the US!

Can you provide actual statistics proving this? Because I've never seen anything stating anything even close to it.
