Congrats to all the August bypassers! Everybody has been having great success! I'm so happy for all of us! I'm down 61 pounds! I see the weightloss most days but then others I think my body looks the same but clearly it doesn't since I had to buy all new clothes!

Is anyone experiencing a decrease in sex drive? At first things were great, but now I just don't want to be bothered with it. Love my guy more than ever though. Just wondering if it is a hormone thing.

I was just wondering the same thing lately. I think it must be hormone fluctuations. There is a physical aspect to it for me (TMI: dryness).

Sorry your having such difficulty, I too having issues with food and water. I am now a forced vegetarian. Any meat or fish do not agree with me. However with the milk have you tried lactose free milk? That's what I'm using. I also use skim milk plus too. As for water I started drinking the little hugs juices, they have 2gm of sugar and only 10 calories so I won't dehydrate. I also eat greek yogurts ( dannon lite n fit) I still having issues with textured foods so I stick to soft foods also. It very frustrating, but I pray this will pass too. Good luck

So I have some big news to share with you all. I just found out yesterday that I am pregnant!!! I thought this would never happen for me and my husband. I need to go talk to my surgeon as I am only shy of five months post-op. This def wasn't planned or even expected so Im a little anxious about how my body is going to handle this pregnancy on top of still healing from the bypass.

Has anyone found that they stall when they are exercising more? I seem to resume weight loss when I am less active. And I'm not doing any serious workouts either, just walking and swimming occassionally.

I haven't but I've just started to get back into my walking and maybe dancing so I hope I don't stall especially since I'm losing weight really good right now. Good luck!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
