I don't know what to do. I'm doing (almost) everything I think I'm supposed to do since my surgery. I eat a healthy diet getting my 50-70 grams of protein daily. I drink close to 64 oz of water as well. I take my vitamins as directed. I exercise 3-4 times a week but I am still pooped. I'm more tired than I can ever recall... mentally, emotionally and physically. At the suggestion of my doctor I've tried increasing my b12 and b-complex vitamins but I'm still tired. The nurse said that they don't typically do blood work at the 2 month mark but the want to know what the cause may be. Also, I recently began experiencing an all over body ache. Some might describe it as flu-like. I have no other symptoms. The combination of chronic fatigue and body aches brought me to tears today. I had a melt down. I'm usually a tough cookie but for some reason today I was rather emotional. I think that I can handle the aches and pains far easier than the exhaustion. I'm curious to know if what I am experiencing is "normal"? If not normal, has anyone else experienced fatigue/exhaustion and body aches at this stage (2 months post-op)? If so please share your story. How do/did you handle it and does it get better with time?
