Is it too early to start an April thread? I didn't see one yet.

I'm scheduled for April 22. I still have to finish PCP clearance and psych then insurance approval but don't anticipate any problems. Once I started my appointments the excitement and anxiety kicked in. I started 6 month supervised diet in August....this used to seem so far away and like a vague idea but its so real now. My anxiety is double as my husband's date is march 18 and I worry a lot more about him than myself. How are all the other April folks doing?

I need to get some samples...I'm cutting it close with surgery in 8 days

I bought the sample pack, my surgeon sells the tubs for cost but wanted to see how they tasted before i buy a bunch.

Ya I think that's what ill be doing this wknd. Gonna hit some nutrition stores as well and see if they have some samples.

Done with pre op. Now just a week and a half till sx!!

Here in canada in order to have Gastric Bypass you have to be smoke free and marijuana free 6 months prior to surgery or they won't do it. They do random testing. Two failed test and your out and can't reapply for one year and have to start the screening process all over from the beginning.

Way to go! The third day was the roughest for me. Today was a bit easier. I hope it continues to get easier every day.

Damn that would suck

It does def suck lol thankfully I quit smoking in 2001/2002, but only just quit pot when I started my journey. Tho the doctors were way harder on the smokers than the pot smokers lol
