Is it too early to start an April thread? I didn't see one yet.

I'm scheduled for April 22. I still have to finish PCP clearance and psych then insurance approval but don't anticipate any problems. Once I started my appointments the excitement and anxiety kicked in. I started 6 month supervised diet in August....this used to seem so far away and like a vague idea but its so real now. My anxiety is double as my husband's date is march 18 and I worry a lot more about him than myself. How are all the other April folks doing?

I just called bariatric advantage 1-800-898-6888 and asked if they have any samples and they are sending me a gastric bypass sample kit and a protein powder sample for free and on their website the gb sample kit is $9.25 so im glad i called and got one free

Just got my book in the mail I ordered!! "Eating Well After Weight Loss Surgery" been reading through it and its great so far. Over 140 low fat' date=' high protein recipes. Goes week by week after ur surgery. What a great choice I made in getting this book. I was having abit of anxiety about foods when I'm post surgery. This helps!

Same here! I start on Monday. How classically ironic huh? Start a liquid diet on April fool's day, which also happens to be a Monday ( I despise Mondays) and they are taking my coffee away too :-(

Which one? There are several with the same title and the one I found was by a lady with "lap band" surgery? Could you tell me the author?

Last weigh in went great. Got some questions answered. My information will be submitted by Friday, and the nurse told me to call them within a week to get them moving! Hopefully there won't be a delay, as my surgery is on the 22nd. Sorry for the delay in updating the surgery list. I haven't felt the greatest with pain and pain meds. Will do tomorrow! For all of you April 1st gals, it is soooooo close!

So do I!! This one has no pictures tho...and I generally prefer my recipe books to have pictures lol but since I'm on the liquid diet I'm glad there's no pictures lol I would like to get a few cookbooks aimed for ppl that have had WLS.

I know!--I started weaning myself off caffeine a few days before so it wasn't as bad, but I sure do miss it!!

I just read this book. Super easy read. Its just some journey entry's. Then the rest of it is some answers to common questions then 150 recipes

My work better watch out 8 days in a row and on a liquid diet I dont thank its going to go to well
