Is it too early to start an April thread? I didn't see one yet.

I'm scheduled for April 22. I still have to finish PCP clearance and psych then insurance approval but don't anticipate any problems. Once I started my appointments the excitement and anxiety kicked in. I started 6 month supervised diet in August....this used to seem so far away and like a vague idea but its so real now. My anxiety is double as my husband's date is march 18 and I worry a lot more about him than myself. How are all the other April folks doing?

Today is my third day without COFFEE! Ugh, good luck. It's killing me, but gets better. Figured I would quit before my pre op diet starts.

It gets easier! It was smart to quit coffee before the pre op diet starts, I too did the same thing and had headaches for four days! Good luck to you

Its hard getting off the caffiene

I still get headaches and ive been on liquid for 2 1/2 weeks now and now i have to stop taking excerdrin but its worth it

I know huh! Huge headaches as I was decreasing the caffeine. But now I'm just having slight headaches during the day. I should get my surgery date next week and I didn't want to deal with this and the pre op diet. Lol

I hear ya mine arent has bad as they were. Side affects for particle diet is mucsle cramps and boy do they hurt

Just got done with my EGD my anxiety kicked in before having it but all went well im still a little dopey but on our way home ...the dr said my stomach started coming up around my band again and i have a dilated pouch. so i def need it out

My surgeon wanted me to quit caffeine two weeks before the surgery. You definitely cannot have any post-op. it can cause ulcers and dehydration.
