I have a question for all of you:

How far along are you in your weight loss? I don't want to know exact number of pounds lost, but I just noticed that it seems like most of us are about half-way to our goal weight. Some are closer to 2/3 of the way there, some are lagging a bit behind...

Would you mind sharing?

My surgery date was 2.14.13. Since that date I have lost 101lbs. I desire too loose another 50-75 more.

I'm at half way 94lbs loss start weight 369 SW 345 CW 275 Dr set my goal 180-190 I'm 5'5 so will se my final when I get there but I'm going to have to have a lower body lift and my bat wings I have lots of skin so my dr says I might not go to his goal weight for me it might be higher because of the skin and I want a boob job they've become very deflated my mid section is very good and not to much tummy it's mostly my legs and hips my granddaughter said my butt is getting small and I can tell cause I've lost my padding and found I have a tailbone cause it hurts when sitting to long Did you know we had BONES under all of this HAHA

I am a little more than halfway. Started at 291, 221 now and hoping to get to 170. I am 5'5" but have a lot if stomach skin so likely I will need the tummy tuck. I feel better--and weigh less- than I have for 29 years! I find I am eating less and eating better. I am mindful of protein first, veggies second. It's great!

I'm 54%. I'm starting to slow down though, but I'm going to kick up my exercise.

My starting weight was 244 on February 11, when I started I wanted to lose 100 pounds. I have lost 72 pounds. My weight loss is very slow now in the beginning I exercised a bunch I have not been exercising and need to get back at it. Looks like all is doing well.

Ok well my surgery was 2/27. In December 2012 I weighed 419. On my day of surgery I weighed 399. Judging by my home scale I'm down to 321(ish). So that's a loss of 78 lbs since surgery, 98 total. My goal is 215(ish). Just wondering on people's opinions on this. Does my loss so far seem good or slow?

I think it's good! I know I never could have lost the 70 lbs I lost without the surgery. Ever. And while it hasn't been a walk in the park, I am not hungry. I have few cravings. I am not controlled by food. You're doing well! Keep up the good work!

I think everyone should be proud of their self no matter the number it's less than it was last year at this time. I wish I could say I wasn't hungry because I do get hungry. It just don't take much to fill me up. Congrats to all and the battle is keep going!?

Everyone is doing great! Started at 214. SD 2.21.13. Current weight: 159. Goal weight 140. I too have bat wings and feel hungry; wanting to eat all the time! I do not exercise and am finally feeling not so tired. First 5k this weekend!

I am 7 pounds away from my goal, which is to have lost 100 pounds.

I started out at 275 made it to 256 the day of surgery. Surgery was 2/25 and since than I am down to 189. My goal is more fluid than most I suppose. I told myself I would consider anything between 200-150 good. I met the goal of 200 by my birthday and set a new goal of 175 by the time my kids start school at the end of August. I suppose I have done a good job losing the weight, but here is where my problem lies. My mom and sister both weigh 189 and 188 and standinf next to them at the 4th of July I still feel like I look double their size. I don't know if this is acuate or just in my head but its very hard to be proud of a number if I can't see it when I can compare myself to people of the same weight and feel like I am no where near their sizes. Granted yes I was wearing a tight 24 at surgery and now am in 17/18 bottoms and a 16/18 swimsuit but when I look at pictures of me with them I still see huge me. They still see huge me. I honestly don't know if its all in my head or if it is how it really is. Anyone else having this issue?
