  3. I am 2-11-2013 I have lost 108 pounds. I am 2 pounds until goal is met. I weigh 136. I would tell all in the beginning the surgery does all the work but at about the 6 month point it's time for you to get busy and do the work. Exercise is the key. I do 60 minutes a day. The hunger is back. I also log my food daily thru Loseit app on my phone. The challenging part is now. Just remember the surgery is only a tool the rest is up to you.
  4. Yes it me a while but also found it and am back.
  5. I know what y'all mean about slow losing. As long as I stick to strict low carb high protein I do pretty well. I am fighting the urge of not falling to temptation. The hunger is back with a vengeance and now it's 100 percent me doing the work except for minimal intake although I could eat a little more if I let myself.

  7. Surgery date 2-11-13 beginning weight 244 current weight 146. 98 pounds down. Woohoo waiting on the 100 mark. The Doc wants me low 130s it's a slow go. Exercise daily 1 hour. Never felt better. Did my first 5k this past Saturday in 37.22 minutes. This is huge for me. Yes would love to be able to carve off all the excess and if I could my arms would be first. They are disgusting. But I doubt I would be able to have any of it due to cost. I don't post much but keep up with this thread always. Happy Zlosing everyone!!
  8. What all does the flex do? Do you wear it on your wrist?
  9. Do any of you have a Fitbit if so which one and how do you like it?
  10. I think everyone should be proud of their self no matter the number it's less than it was last year at this time. I wish I could say I wasn't hungry because I do get hungry. It just don't take much to fill me up. Congrats to all and the battle is keep going!?
  11. My starting weight was 244 on February 11, when I started I wanted to lose 100 pounds. I have lost 72 pounds. My weight loss is very slow now in the beginning I exercised a bunch I have not been exercising and need to get back at it. Looks like all is doing well.

  20. Here is some wise words to live by..... I am in competition with no one. I run my own race. I have no desire to play the game of being better than anyone, in anyway, shape or form. I just aim to improve to be better than I was before. That's me and I'm free......
  21. I am a punisher also I expect big big things. Truth is we have to be patient. Have you lost inches? I am 7 weeks out yesterday I lost 17 pounds before surgery and 26 since with a total of 43. My starting weight was 244 so I am so close to Onederland. I drank some wine this weekend and I went up a pound. Ugh!! I guess I deserve that. I do work out. Just hang in there it will come. I get scared mine isn't working also. I rarely have any problems and am always hungry 2 hours after I eat. Which my doc says is in my head. We all just have to be more patient I know but when you are eating less than 600 calories a day and working out I feel like it should just be falling off.
  22. No more 200s. I can't wait for that day.
  23. I should not be so greedy! My weight in the last 2 weeks is very slow. I knew it would slow down. You are doing great also. I don't comment much but read everyone's post. Keep up the hard work. I would rather lose slow and have plenty energy and feel good than feeling drained and week. I have no time to feel bad. Thanks!!
