Wendy's Chili Yay or Nay?

So I know it's a great tasty source for Protien (27g) and I've puréed it and added cheese for more protein...I'm 8 days out and my guidelines say puréed foods are ok...anyone else tried it?

Yay! My doc and NUT both laugh about Wendy's chili. I guess it really is pretty good for you. They both ok it and say they can't get over recommending a fast food.

I've been eating it for the past 3 days and have not had a problem with it whatsoever....I don't know if I have a strong stomach or what but its been perfectly fine....that's why I wanted you guys opinion bc I'm a little freaked out on how well it's been for me!

Oh yay!! I might try it if you tolerate it well! Yum :)

yea just try a itty bit of it and tell me how it works out for you!

I had it twice and thought it was amazing it, I brag to my NUT about it and she says NO BEEF for six months. I am like what? guess i didn't read that part in their manual. But it did taste really good, I pureed it and added cheese and some sour cream. Heaven in a spoon. Guess I will wait a while. So if it is allowed on your list give it a try cause it really is the bomb.

I also heard try the yogurt in tuna fish as a mayo replacement, I have not tried this cause I'm still straining everything I eat but I intend to : )

I purred Wendy's chilli when I was still on purred And did fine with it other then it doesn't taste as good all purred together but it's a change from the protein drinks and yogurt and cheese.

Has anyone had Hormel turkey no bean chili?

I haven't had hormel but I had a different brand from a can and it was good.

Do you all know how they make their chili?? Not trying to gross anyone out, but it's really kinda sick. That was my first job ever- Wendee working at Wendy's..... Some things you just can't forget about!

Are you going to tell.us or what?

The beef that is used is beef that sat too long in the patty pan- so it's tossed into a 5 gal bucket then stuck in the fridge at night until they use it for their chili. I guess that's the gross part about it for me, it isn't fresh meat in there, it's old patties that sat too long to be served.
