What ya eating tonight?

Still not coming up. Guess I'm not a puker. For the first time in my life that seems like a bad thing. I'd better be more careful.

Go bend over the toilet. The act of bending does it for me. Unfortunately when I had a band it happened all the time

Omg!!! We're twins. I just got cod at the black sheep tavern in Cambridge and it was a little over cooked. Dug into it anyways faster then lightning an the combination of the dry fish and eating to fast made me toss my Cookies for the first time. Twice actually. I finally got it up and feel so much better. Still feeling a little funny but other then that I'm good. Also this is in no way a bad review of the black sheep tavern for those living/visiting Boston. They are very good. My friends filet mignon was to die for. At least that's what she said. I didn't have any.

Tilapia was my 'safe' food. I feel betrayed. Lol

It was my own fault though. I'm starting to feel a little better but still gurgling a little in the back of my throat.

Tried bending, didn't work. Tried fingers down the throat, didn't work. Tried looking at food, made me nauseous but didn't work. I'm just not a puker. I think remembering I am not the same as I used to be and being more careful in the future is going to be my best defense.

Am I the only one who feels so normal that you sometimes wonder if the doctor did the surgery right? That is, until this happens? Feeling like this is a confirmation that yes, he DID do it right.

I feel pretty normal as well. I just am not hungry and can't eat alot. But my recovery has been fairly easy compared to lots of people I read on here. I have thrown up twice, and don't plan on that happening again if I can help it. :)

I just wish that my weight would come off quicker.

YES! I'm not three weeks post-op yet and have felt soooo good until today! I got cocky and ate too quickly, and now the evil dumping is hitting. It's better now, but I threw up the foamy stuff and nothing else. It relieved the nausea at least.

Hope you puke soon! :)

I'm on throw up number four. I can't even drink Water. I think even tho I can't feel it really, I think I may just be full. I'm not trying anything else for the rest of the night. Ugh. Worst mistake ever.

Made baked chicken today and it looked so good! Had a small piece, chewed really well, and used gravy. It still doesnt sit with me! I am so nauseous an hour later. I just cant do chicken anymore. Sucks cuz it is high Protein. I cant stand the thought of fish either lately. I have been doing 2 shakes a day and eating cottage cheese. Not feeling anything else lately!

I've lost 22lbs in six weeks. Not as much as some but definitely more than I could've done on my own. I'm pleased about it. As long as I have a downward trend I'll be happy.

I'm sorry you're going through a rough patch. It'll get better.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
