  • I did not do well with ham or most meats .... they just don't go down right. Everyone is different, I would try a tiny-tiny bit, chew really, really well and see how it goes. Anytime I got sick on

Anytime I got sick on something, I knew right away that it was not going to sit right with me. The ham "may" be too much for you 5 wks out.

Ham is easier since there is less fat but can be dry. I'm going to nibble on Xmas and see. Good luck.

Ok thanks guys..i had pork steak with no trouble but I guess I'll just have to try or opt for something else..it's just my sons, grandson and myself so I won't have to worry about offending any other dinner guests....

How are you coming along worm?

I am doing a turkey ham for Christmas.

Stephanie

I had three bites of prime rib at my in-laws. Chewed really well, went down fine. But I don't eat pork at all.

I do fine w ham--9 weeks out--if I hit a really chewy piece I just spit that out

Mmm...i was almost thinking of making prime rib....I'm worried about eating too much the next couple days lol!

I had ham lunch meat and it was fine. I am 5 weeks out

I'm ok with ham but have it occasional. I don't do we'll with pork. I try to stick to turkey & fish

Ham is one of the things that makes me dump. It won't move. I can do steak, pork chops, fish, but no ham. It's one of the few things that I can not do 7 months out.
