My weight loss is going slower than expected

Recommended Posts

Plus if you have LOTS of weight to lose you might lose faster and as you get closer to goal you lose slower... Men tend to lose faster then women...The process works just follow your program and make sure you are taking all your Vitamins, getting all your Water and Protein in.

I still worry so much about getting the Rny. I was sleeved 7 months ago to only loss 35lbs I stopped losing weight after 3 months from the sleeve. My worry is that I won't loss with the Rny. So I would be happy with loosing the 60/65 lbs I still have to go. I eat right and work out with the sleeve as is but that was not the huge problem the problem was I need the metabolic reset of the Rny so they think lol.

Yeah i kow the feeling... i will be 8 weeks post op on Wed and have only lost 31 lbs. My nut keeps reassuring me that im doing great, but when you see others who loose that much each month it gets discouraging regardless of how people say your doing or if they say because you have less than 100 lbs. to loose expect to loose slower.. I just don't want to hear it sometimes i just want my body to cooperate!!!!

I have a 15 year old and 12 year old. both boys !!! You would think they should be able to be left alone... But they act like 6 year olds when left together plus living almost an hr. away who knows what they would do!! If I took them and left them in the lobby they would just fight and run around the place acting stupid... My hubby doesn't get off till 6:30 which would put me there way past when the meeting is over.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
