Hey guys, new to this life style. Just got approval from insurance and waiting to schedule surgery. My doc uses Bariatric Advantage but I was wondering if there were any other good alternatives?

I use opurity Bariatric Vitamins, chewables for GBP patients. It's at unjury.com. If you look at the label, it has most of the B12, Biotin, Iron, that we are required daily so I didn't have to buy a bunch more vitamins as well.

My doc uses Celebrate Bariatric Vitamins, but at my last visit gave me a sample of Bariatric Fusion. They taste much better and are less chalky. I take 2 Multivitamins in the am and 2 in the pm. No more separate Calcium.< /p>

The worst part of my day is chewing the Multivitamin. I am so limited on what I can take b/c i can't tolerate Sorbitol or Mannitol. So many Vitamins have those ingredients in them! I use the Flinstones with an added Iron chewable tablet.

ProHealth Care has a ONE A DAY chewable vitamin!! I usually swallow it. I don't like chewing Vitamins. YUCK... But it has everything GBS patients need in one dose. It's $10 for a 30 day supply.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
