@@devolyn Glad you're home and feeling good. There's no place like home!

You have a cat too! Mine wouldn't stay off my lap as I relaxed on the couch yesterday. She was so happy I was home. My hubby doesn't spoil her like I do.

I started out feeling pretty good with just some pain around the middle. Last night though I was hit with Constipation and I'm still dealing with it. Pretty awful. Before checking out the discharge nurse warned me that this could happen but I've never had to deal with it before so it's a bummer to say the least. I've taken all the Senokot and Colasce they said to take so now I'm working through the other options on the sheet they gave me on checkout. :(

So my transfer from Hamilton to Toronto Western has me starting back at the beginning. I'm so frustrated. Regrouping. Refocusing.

I'm curious if those people who had success speeding up the process have any advice about calling. I don't seem to be able to get past the receptionists and promises of returned calls.

Any words of wisdom?

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
