Today I am 100 lighter than the day my journey started in January of this year. That day I was 389 and so embarrassed of myself and how I got there. Even then I wasn't sure if RNY was for me (embarrassed but still in denial!!) But as it was necessary for me to get healthy I am so grateful for the chance at life it has given me. I am 289lbs today! 100lbs since January 70lbs since surgery.

I still have a ways to go but I am soo happy to be doing this for me:)

Thank you for the support!!! And yes, as a treat to myself (and the husband said the same thing! Go buy something to celebrate) I am buying new gym/running shoes. Mine are too big/loose we are going after dinner excited

Congrats honey! I myself lost 100 lbs, I had surgery 3/19/12, I was 280, and I'm now 180, feels great! Keep up the good work!
