Feeling really good today. Today was day 6 post op. Each day gets better!

Lisa so glad you are doing well. I am doing pretty good too. Nothing major going on. Pain very manageable. Just trying to get liquids in and get the 2 ounce meals in (full liquid). Even started back on some Vitamins yesterday. Passing gas a lot, need to poo though (TMI)

We survived!! My husband finally told me he's ok! He has already been walking! He had his surgery last night around 10:00 because both of his flights were delayed. Any diabetics out there? My husband is having blurry vision really bad. It started the second day of liquid diet.< /p>

Wow! All is done and now I start a 3 week liquid diet on Monday and then surgery! Glad all the hoops are jumped through and so excited to start the real journey. I just want to thank all of you for sharing and for this forum as it makes me less nervous. Good luck all and I look forward to hear of your experiences once surgery is done.

Wow!! 3 weeks on liquids before surgery?? I only had liquids the day before surgery.

My sugar is dropping today and I'm super shaky. Trying to drink a Protein drink now to see if it helps.

Retaining too much Fluid can cause that, too. Sometimes I can see with my glasses and sometimes I can't. My surgeon said that could be why, for sure.

I am joining you on that special day. I was suppose to have mine on the 5th, but the day before I was cancelled because insurance didn't approve it yet. (After I did my liquid diet for 8 days)

But everything happens for a reason, and I got the call with my insurance approval today.
