Thank u:) I'm glad you're doing better. That's the way I'm thinking. But at the same time I'm so afraid to try new foods, I don't want to get sick.

10/18 and down 25 lbs wooohoooo

The new foods thing I get bc I'm terrified, but I just chew chew chew and keep a drink near by I case the pouch doesn't like it I can try and flush it through! Lol good luck ladies :)

Was anyone told about soups by their nut? I was thinking of making a chicken noodle soup without the noodles (maybe use spaghetti squash), but will the broth just flush the chicken and veggies through? I was told to not drink during meals or until 30 minutes passed after finishing meals.

10/18: 22 lbs to date! :)

Just talked with my doctors nurse! I get to start working couple hours a day from home till full release at 3 weeks post op! I'm excited! Now I can "sip while I work"! Today is one week post-op and I feel really good--last 2 days I've gotten all my hydration in and consistently get 60 protein-she said that's prob why I'm feeling good. Been very blessed so far-no nausea and sipping is easy--hope he didn't leave my pouch too big lol

how?? I can barely get 25 ounces of Fluid in and 15 if Protein. at least I can get my Vitamins in. surgery was 10/29

Soups are great right after surgery. I had French onion, wanton-, miso, etc but no noodles in them.
