Good idea karma I moved all my meds and things to the kitchen so I would have to get up and I started a journal to keep track of when to take what it is to hard to keep track of all of it unless I write it down

It gets better, walking helps get rid of the gas and promote faster healing. Just walk as much as u can or laps around ur house. Good job girl! :)

That is awesome karma I agree not as bad as it seems before I was so worried and then next thing I know I am at home feeling better I donated my scale I thought it might be more fun to see what I weight at each doctor visits.

Your so good, I weigh everyday. I can't wait till my week 2 post op. that's when I get oatmeal and yogurt. Sticking to liquids is so hard! It's the hardest part of surgery- The post op diet. time needs to fast forward. It does help me to see weight dropping plus I go on instagram and youtube and watch/see weight loss success stories/videos from WLS and GBP :)

Yeah I have been doing the google thing as well. It is weird I thought my insides would feel alot different but they don't. It is weird to think I will lose 100 +pounds in the next year.

I'm doing great! Super excited for the 26th! I was so sick yesterday and last night but I think it was a 24 hour bug. I feel much better this morning. I hope I can keep this positive attitude up all the way till they wheel me into the OR!

Saying prayers for all of you today and Sending healing thoughts, A lot to be thankful for this week and a lot of it is right here in these names. These people are starting their journey to health and I am so happy for them. YOu are all on my heart and mind today,

We might be the ones pushing to get to the front of the group photo next Christmas instead of trying to hide behind somebody..

Hello November dates,

Who went in last week? I did on Wednesday so I am now six days out, four days home from hospital. Doing ok just a little trouble with my drain. It keeps leaking onto the bandages even though they rest itched it in the hospital.

How is everyone else doing?

Hey Lapband,

I'm doing good on my end. Some soreness still and a slight cold. But other than that in good.

Postop day six has left me so surprised n it just started. I took my mom to work this morning, she works @ a medical center so i seen it as an opportunity to finally jump on a scale since the last time i was weighed was right before going in to surgery i was 365lbs. Now i have not been able to use a weighted scale in years since it only goes up to 350lbs. So of course the closes scale to my moms office is a weighted, but i figure what's the harm in trying it... imagine my surprise when i stepped on slid the main weight to 300 and started sliding the little weight.. i look at my mom n told her am i doing this wrong?! She came over and looked the slid the little weight around some more and said nope babe you are 344lbs. (Jaw dropped) today has made all the pain and uncomfortableness of the past 6 days worth it... however i do know that when my dr. Finds out he will probably tell me its way to much weight and its probably because i am having a hard time consuming my liquids but ever day gets a little better so here's hoping to continued improvement and continued weight loss...good luck today to all those having there procedures done today:)
