Hello November dates,

Who went in last week? I did on Wednesday so I am now six days out, four days home from hospital. Doing ok just a little trouble with my drain. It keeps leaking onto the bandages even though they rest itched it in the hospital.

How is everyone else doing?

glad you are home.

How long do you have to have the drain?

Wishing you the very best and hope everyday is better and better,

Newbie I went in Wed last week my drain was removed Friday before I was discharged and I have nothing coming out of it. I just keep a dry dressing on it. While I was in the hospital I did have some draining around the tube at the insertion site but they said that was all normal then it almost but stopped before I left.

Vicki I am supposed to keep the drain for two weeks because I had the Lapband in first so they took it out and them did the bypass. The surgery was also much longer five hours. I am sore but not too bad just jealous that my family is eating and I am doing shakes. I think the emotional side of this is going to be much more difficult to deal with.
