  12. Newbie I went in Wed last week my drain was removed Friday before I was discharged and I have nothing coming out of it. I just keep a dry dressing on it. While I was in the hospital I did have some draining around the tube at the insertion site but they said that was all normal then it almost but stopped before I left.
  13. Post op appointment went well now on puréed yum yum.

  17. Do the same thing as you said with walking honestly it makes recovery so much easier when you purposely walk. Sitting around will make you even more tired on top of the surgery recovery and lack of calories. I am post op day 5 trust me it gets better.

  20. To all those getting ready for surgery as a day four post op patient and nurse stay on top of your pain and walk even when you don't want to. When you walk don't hunch put your shoulders back it hurts but stretch out those abs it only gets harder later! When you wake up if you are like me I immediately had regrets the pain was so bad for about ten minutes then after that its been super great no gas pains or anything but walking and sitting in the chair is key.

  25. Discharged at home in my own space. It's a wonderful thing. I did 15 min on the treadmill now time for a nap.

  27. I am sorry you are in so much pain I was done 11/14 and I do have pain but the pain medication is working well. I have been walking a lot too it helps a lot because you will get more more sore from not moving. Prayers for you

  29. Today gets even better. The pain is tolerable when you take the medicine and trust me I am not one of those high pain tolerance people. I am so happy to here you did well. I can't wait to go home today it's time to start my new life!
  30. Welcome my name is Angel and I am post op day number 1 being discharged tomorrow. There are a lot of great people on here that offer wonderful support. Welcome aboard the November Train
  31. So surgery was yesterday at 7:15 am, no gas pain very little nausea and I was up walking yesterday by 5 pm. I feel great just sore prayers out for everyone wherever you are in your journey.
